LinkedIn About
Section Generator.

A full About section draft, hooked, line-broken, ready to paste. Pick a tone. Hit generate. Edit to taste.

Your draft

~ 2000 chars · ready to paste
Fill in the form and click Generate. Your output appears here.

How to use the result

  • Open LinkedIn → Edit profile → About.
  • Paste the draft. LinkedIn keeps the line breaks.
  • Trim or rewrite the first sentence so it sounds like you - the hook should feel native, not generated.
  • Run a fact-check pass: every credibility line should be true and current.
  • Save. Refresh your profile in a private tab to see how it renders on mobile.

Why this tool exists

A LinkedIn About section is the most under-used 2000 characters in B2B. Most people leave it blank, copy their resume in, or write three vague lines about being "passionate about innovation."

This tool gets you to a real first draft in 30 seconds - with a hook, a clear ICP, and a credible offer. You edit. You ship. The rest is on you.

faq

Quick questions.

How long should a LinkedIn About section be?
LinkedIn allows up to 2,600 characters. The sweet spot is 1,500-2,000 - long enough to land a hook, your ICP, your offer, and one piece of credibility, short enough that someone reads to the bottom.
Will this sound like AI?
A free generic-voice draft can. Always edit the hook and any line that feels stiff. For drafts written in your voice - built from your real posts - install the Chrome extension or use the paid web app.
How often should I update my About section?
Whenever your offer changes, your ICP sharpens, or you have a new credibility point worth leading with. Twice a year is a healthy minimum.
Do I need to mention my employer?
If you're a founder, fractional, or consultant - usually no. The About section is about you; the experience section handles the rest. If you're a senior IC inside a company, naming the company once is fine.
Is my data stored?
No. The inputs you type are sent to generate the draft and discarded. Email capture is optional and only used for product updates if you opt in.

Want this in your voice?

The free tools draft in a generic voice. The Chrome extension drafts in yours - built from 3-5 of your real posts.
