4 fields · ~ 20 seconds
Just one. Putting too many keywords in your headline kills it.

5 variants

tagged by angle
Fill in the form and click Generate. Your output appears here.

How to use the result

  • Pick the variant that sounds most like you, not the cleverest.
  • Paste into LinkedIn → Edit profile → Headline.
  • Keep under 220 chars so it doesn't truncate on mobile.
  • Test for a week. If profile-visit-to-connection ratio drops, swap variants.
  • Don't stuff with emojis. One is fine. Three reads as desperate.

The five angles

  • Outcome-led - names the result you help create.
  • Authority-led - leans on credibility / track record.
  • Curiosity-led - opens a small loop the visitor wants closed.
  • Niche-led - narrow ICP, immediately disqualifying.
  • Contrarian - takes a side on a debate in your space.
faq

Quick questions.

How long should a LinkedIn headline be?
LinkedIn allows 220 characters. The full thing only shows on profile view - search results truncate around 120 characters. Front-load the most important part.
Should I include my company name?
If your company is a major credibility lever (recognizable brand, big logo), yes - once, at the end. Otherwise leave it out; LinkedIn already shows your current role separately.
What's the deal with keywords?
LinkedIn search weights headlines heavily. Include ONE keyword you want to rank for ("fractional CMO", "design systems lead", "data engineer"). More than one usually reads as keyword-stuffing.
Is this allowed to use as my real headline?
Yes - these are drafts for you to use, edit and ship. We don't claim ownership over the output.
How often should I change it?
Every time your offer or ICP sharpens. Not for the sake of it. A headline that works should compound on search visibility - don't reset that habit lightly.

One headline.
Forty profile visits a week.

Built into the paid product: A/B test headlines, watch the profile-visit lift, lock the winner.
